Your vessel sails well. At some point, you may notice that something could be improved or that certain aspects are no longer performing optimally. That is when it is time for optimisation.

Ensuring that your yacht is perfectly aligned with your desired sailing experience, the skill level of your crew, your sailing area, and your own physical capabilities—that is optimisation.

Optimisation may involve modifying the deck layout. Are the blocks positioned in the optimal locations? Do the lines run along the most efficient routes? What about cleats and rope clutches? Developments are continuous, and what worked well yesterday may already be improved today. Enquire about the possibilities for your vessel.

 

Optimisation can also include adaptations for short-handed sailing, or upgrading the reefing system so that it can be operated with one or two lines (single-line or dual-line reefing).
